Library is the place of reading, learning and self education, where students, teachers and school staff can use its services.
Registered users are allowed to utilize the services of the library for free in the opening hours.
Readers must keep the rules of the library:
- It is prohibited to bring in coats or schoolbags.
- It is forbidden to eat and speak loudly in the library.
- Everyone must keep silence so that others can read and learn.
Lending rules:
Taking out a book without the permission of the librarian is prohibited.
- First and second graders can borrow one book per person; upper graders can borrow 2 or in need 3 books before asking for another one.
- Lending time is 14 days but lengthening can be asked for in special cases.
- Lending time of set books is automatically lengthened according to their usage in lessons.
- Long term books can be borrowed for the whole school year.
- Handbooks, temporary publications (daily, weekly newspapers, periodicals) can be borrowed for a lesson, a day or a weekend only in special case.
- Audiovisual aids (cassettes, CD-ROMs etc.) can be borrowed by the school staff for a lesson, a day or maximum for a week.
- Borrowers are responsible for the borrowed materials. Lost or damaged items have to be replaced by another similar one or by an appropriate item proposed by the librarian.
- Until the return of the forgotten items no more books can be borrowed. Readers who owe the library cannot leave school officially until they arrange their owing.
- The rich and valuable collection of the library belongs to the school. Its protection is the task and duty of every reader. It is prohibited to write, draw in the books or tear out pages. Cutting out pictures and photos is also forbidden. Anyone caught in these acts will receive severe punishment.
